Scheduled power outages to affect Rawalpindi and Chakwal

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced planned power interruptions in certain areas of Rawalpindi and Chakwal on Tuesday to carry out routine maintenance and system upgrades.

The utility stated that electricity will be unavailable from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on feeders including Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial, Basali, and Kambeli Sadiq in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle. During the same time frame, feeders such as Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Saghar Pur, and CWO in Chakwal Circle will also experience outages.

Additionally, maintenance activities are scheduled at multiple grid stations under the GSO Circle, which may disrupt power in nearby areas. These works involve the 132kV Rawat-II, AWC HMC Taxila, Sangjani-Burhan, Kahuta City-Palandri, and New Wah-Bahtermore transmission lines and associated systems.
