The Punjab government has once again revised the dates for Basant 2027 in Lahore, scheduling the festival for March 12, 13 and 14, 2027.
According to Dunya News, the provincial cabinet approved a summary recommending the updated dates. The revised plan will allow kite flying across Lahore, provided participants comply with government regulations.
The latest announcement marks another change to the festival’s schedule as authorities continue preparations for Basant celebrations in the provincial capital.
Under the new timetable, residents will be able to enjoy three days of Basant celebrations in March 2027. However, all kite-flying activities will remain subject to the rules and safety requirements imposed by the authorities.
The revised dates are expected to help guide preparations throughout Lahore, including arrangements for regulated kite flying and festival activities.
