Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced plans to restore two more train services as the government works to bring suspended railway operations back.
- Mohenjo Daro Express will resume service on September 15.
- A new train between Sialkot and Rawalpindi will start operating on October 15.
- Pakistan Railways has been directed to complete all preparations before the announced dates.
- The minister said all suspended trains will be restored gradually in different phases.
- He also said planning for the Main Line-1 (ML-1) project is now in its final stage.
- According to Abbasi, the ML-1 project will bring major improvements to Pakistan’s railway system.
