Pakistan Railways to Resume Two More Train Services

Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced plans to restore two more train services as the government works to bring suspended railway operations back.

  • Mohenjo Daro Express will resume service on September 15.
  • A new train between Sialkot and Rawalpindi will start operating on October 15.
  • Pakistan Railways has been directed to complete all preparations before the announced dates.
  • The minister said all suspended trains will be restored gradually in different phases.
  • He also said planning for the Main Line-1 (ML-1) project is now in its final stage.
  • According to Abbasi, the ML-1 project will bring major improvements to Pakistan’s railway system.
