Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) reported a profit before tax of Rs. 20.5 billion and a net profit of Rs. 10 billion for H1 2026, with earnings per share of Rs. 6.60.
The bank announced a cash dividend of Rs. 1.5 per share for the second quarter. Despite declining market interest rates, FBL maintained strong performance through balance sheet growth, with total assets exceeding Rs. 1.8 trillion.
Deposits increased by 9.5% to Rs. 1.56 trillion, while current accounts surged 21% to Rs. 646 billion. The current account mix improved to 41.4% (from 37.5% in Dec 2025), and CASA strengthened to 86.8% (from 81.9%).
The advance-to-deposit ratio declined to 51.7% (from 61.1%), while the infection ratio stood at 2.3%. The bank also completed the issuance of a Rs. 7 billion Tier II Sukuk.
FBL stated that these results reflect the strength of its Islamic banking model, solid business fundamentals, and effective risk management, supported by digital innovation, technology-driven solutions, and customer- and women-focused initiatives.
