Shab-e-Miraj is one of the most blessed and significant nights in Islamic history. On this sacred night, Allah Almighty invited His beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on a special journey. The Prophet (PBUH) traveled from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem, known as Isra, and then ascended through the heavens, which is called Miraj.
During this miraculous journey, the Prophet (PBUH) met various prophets and witnessed many signs of Allah’s greatness. On this night, five daily prayers were made obligatory for Muslims, which is a central pillar of Islam.
Shab-e-Miraj teaches us the importance of prayer, strong faith, and complete trust in Allah. Muslims observe this night by offering voluntary prayers, reciting the Quran, sending blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH), and making sincere supplications.
This blessed night reminds us that Allah grants honor and success after hardships, just as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was blessed with this extraordinary journey after facing many challenges.

شبِ معراج اسلامی تاریخ کی ایک نہایت بابرکت اور عظیم رات ہے۔ یہ وہ مقدس رات ہے جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے پیارے نبی حضرت محمد ﷺ کو ایک خاص سفر پر بلایا۔ اس سفر میں نبی کریم ﷺ مسجدِ حرام (مکہ) سے مسجدِ اقصیٰ (بیت المقدس) تک تشریف لے گئے، جسے اسراء کہا جاتا ہے، اور پھر وہاں سے آسمانوں کی سیر فرمائی، جسے معراج کہا جاتا ہے۔
معراج کے سفر میں نبی ﷺ نے مختلف آسمانوں پر انبیائے کرامؑ سے ملاقات کی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے خاص قرب سے نوازے گئے۔ اسی رات مسلمانوں پر پانچ وقت کی نماز فرض کی گئی، جو اسلام کا ایک اہم رکن ہے۔
شبِ معراج ہمیں نماز کی اہمیت، اللہ پر کامل یقین اور صبر کا درس دیتی ہے۔ یہ رات ایمان کو تازہ کرنے، عبادت کرنے اور اللہ سے مغفرت مانگنے کا بہترین موقع ہے۔ مسلمان اس رات نوافل، درود شریف، تلاوتِ قرآن اور دعا میں مشغول رہتے ہیں۔
یہ رات ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے نیک بندوں کو مشکلات کے بعد عظمت اور کامیابی عطا فرماتا ہے، جیسا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو سخت آزمائشوں کے بعد یہ عظیم مقام عطا ہوا۔
اللہ تعالیٰ ہمیں شبِ معراج کی برکتوں سے فیض یاب ہونے اور اپنی عبادات کو بہتر بنانے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔
