The Punjab government has approved a Rs. 300 million allocation to reward players of the Khelta Punjab Games with electric bikes and laptops, according to official reports.

Under the approved plan, the Finance Department will release funds for 980 electric bikes, which will be procured through a government-to-government agreement with Wah Industries. The initiative aims to promote eco-friendly transport while supporting young athletes.
In addition, over 600 laptops will be distributed to players under the age of 18 through the Chief Minister Laptop Program, encouraging education alongside sports development.
The move reflects the provincial government’s broader focus on youth empowerment, sports promotion, and digital inclusion, rewarding talent while investing in the future of young athletes across Punjab.
