Gold Prices Hold Steady After Record Surge

Gold prices in Pakistan stayed unchanged on Tuesday, a day after hitting a record high.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola remained at Rs. 370,700, while the rate for 10 grams of gold was steady at Rs. 317,815.

In the international market, gold also stayed stable at $3,480 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA. This calm comes after Monday’s sharp rise, when the gold price per tola jumped by Rs. 3,300 in a single day, reaching its highest level ever.

Silver prices in the local market also did not change, with the per tola rate fixed at Rs. 4,303.
