Punjab Government Announces Massive New Scholarship Drive

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the second phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Programme, opening doors to thousands more students across the province.

In a post on her official account on social media platform X, she addressed the youth directly, calling their aspirations “the heartbeat of Punjab’s future.”

Since its inception last year, the programme has supported 80,000 students. Currently, 50,000 students are receiving scholarships, with an additional 30,000 set to benefit in the coming phase.

Maryam Nawaz highlighted that Honhaar offers opportunities in 67 fields, aimed at preparing students for future careers by equipping them with both skills and knowledge to succeed.

“The portal for the next phase of Honhaar is now open,” she said, urging students to apply confidently, study with dedication, and continue believing in their potential.
