Gold prices saw a minor decline on Monday but stayed close to historic highs, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.
The rate for 24-karat gold dropped by Rs. 700 per tola, now priced at Rs. 362,300, compared to Rs. 363,000 on Sunday. Though slightly lower, it’s still near the all-time peak of Rs. 363,700 per tola.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 600, bringing it to Rs. 310,613, down from Rs. 311,213.
Likewise, 22-karat gold (10 grams) saw a drop of Rs. 550, settling at Rs. 284,738 compared to Rs. 285,288 the previous day.
Silver rates stayed steady, with 1 tola priced at Rs. 3,787 and 10 grams at Rs. 3,246.
On the global stage, gold lost $18, bringing the international price to $3,414 per ounce, while silver remained unchanged at $36.29 per ounce.
