The federal government has introduced a significant hike in petroleum product prices for the final two weeks of the 2024-25 fiscal year.
According to the latest revision, petrol has gone up by Rs. 4.80 per liter, while high-speed diesel has seen an increase of Rs. 7.95 per liter. The updated rate for petrol now stands at Rs. 258.43, and high-speed diesel will cost Rs. 262.59 per liter. These revised prices will come into effect starting June 16, 2025.
