SBP remain closed due to general elections

State Bank of Pakistan remain closed on the occasion of the General elections held on February 8, 2024. Therefore, The Election Commission of Pakistan has used its authority, as outlined in the Constitution and the Elections Act of 2017, to declare February 8, 2024, a public holiday. This decision is made to make it easier for people to vote freely.
