Redmi Note 17 Pro Series Launches Globally With Huge 10,000mAh Battery

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max globally, bringing bigger batteries, improved processors, stronger durability, and upgraded features.

Display & Design

• Both phones have a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

• The screens offer up to 3,500 nits brightness and are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

• Both models come with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for better water and dust protection.

• The phones are also built with Xiaomi’s REDMI Titan Structure.

• The Pro comes in Sky Blue, Satin Orange, Purple and Black, while the Pro Max comes in Cloud Blush, Green, Purple and Black.

Performance & Software

• The Redmi Note 17 Pro uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor.

• The Pro Max gets the more powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 5.

• Both phones run on HyperOS 3.

• Xiaomi promises six years of security updates.

• Both models support 5G, NFC, dual SIM and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Cameras

• Xiaomi has moved away from the 200MP camera used on previous Redmi Note Pro models.

• Both phones now have a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

• The Pro Max gets a better 50MP main camera with a wider f/1.5 aperture.

• The Pro has a 16MP selfie camera, while the Pro Max gets a 32MP front camera with 4K video recording.

Battery & Charging

• The Redmi Note 17 Pro comes with a large 8,340mAh battery and 67W fast charging.

• The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max packs a massive 10,000mAh battery in many global markets, making it Xiaomi’s largest smartphone battery so far.

• Some markets will get a 9,210mAh battery instead.

• The Pro Max supports 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging.

• Xiaomi claims the Pro Max can provide up to three days of use.
