LPG Becomes More Expensive

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of LPG by Rs. 4.33 per kilogram for September. The new official price is now Rs. 258.65 per kilogram.

According to OGRA’s notification, the increase means an 11.8 kg household LPG cylinder will cost Rs. 51.17 more.

The new official price of an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder is Rs. 3,052 for September.

OGRA had already increased LPG prices in August by Rs. 12.89 per kilogram. At that time, the price of an 11.8 kg cylinder rose to Rs. 3,000.92, compared with Rs. 2,848.91 in July.

The latest increase means LPG prices have gone up for another month, adding further cost for households that use LPG.
