Pakistan’s New Hajj Portal Records Over Rs. 31 Billion in Payments in a Single Day

More than Rs. 31 billion in Hajj payments have been collected within just 24 hours through Pakistan’s digital Hajj portal, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Since the launch of the online payment facility, more than 50,000 Hajj applications have been submitted through the platform.

Payments have been completed for approximately 22,000 pilgrims under the Short Hajj Scheme and 28,000 pilgrims under the Long Hajj Scheme.

The digital payment service is being used across all four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad.

Pilgrims can pay through OneLink, bank cards, or bank challans using the Pak Hajj app and Hajj portal.

The ministry said the digital system is designed to make Hajj payments faster, simpler, and more convenient for pilgrims across Pakistan.
