The Lahore Traffic Police has opened five driving training schools for students under the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme. These centers will help students learn safe driving and get their driving licenses.
The training facilities are available at:
- Abshar Driving School
- Liberty Khidmat Markaz
- Greater Iqbal Park
- Traffic Police Lines Manawan
- LOS Ferozepur Road
The initiative is part of the Punjab government’s electric bike scheme, which aims to give students affordable access to electric motorcycles while promoting safe and responsible driving.
CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme
Under the scheme, the Punjab government plans to provide 100,000 electric bikes to students across Punjab.
- Total bike cost: PKR 199,000
- Student’s cost: PKR 109,000
- Monthly installment: PKR 3,028
- Payment period: 36 months
- Government support: Insurance, mark-up, and registration costs
More than 33,000 public and private educational institutions can participate in the scheme. Students can apply through the official portal at bikes.punjab.gov.pk.
