The government has decided to keep petrol and diesel prices unchanged

The federal government has decided to maintain the current prices of petroleum products for the next two weeks.The price of petrol will remain at Rs. 248.38 per liter, and high-speed diesel will be priced at Rs. 255.14 per liter.

The finance ministry stated that the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority determined the prices based on international market trends over the past two weeks, leading to the decision to keep petroleum product prices unchanged for the next fortnight.

In the previous fortnightly review, the government raised the price of petrol by Rs. 1.35 per liter, bringing it to Rs. 248.38. The price of high-speed diesel was also increased by Rs. 3.85 per liter, reaching Rs. 255.14.
