Saad Rafique, a prominent figure in the PML-N and former federal minister, has conceded his defeat in the NA-122 Lahore constituency and offered congratulations to Latif Khosa, an independent candidate supported by PTI, who emerged victorious in the election for that seat
Rafique stated, “It’s imperative for everyone to respect the voters’ decision, and now we must unite and collaborate for the progress and development of the country.“
It’s worth noting that NA-122 Lahore was traditionally a stronghold constituency for the PML-N. However, in the recent election, Saad Rafique suffered a defeat as PTI-backed Khosa secured victory with 117,109 votes, while Rafique garnered 77,709 votes.
