The Punjab government has declared that schools in Lahore and Multan will reopen tomorrow (Wednesday). Environment Department Director General Imran Hamid Sheikh issued a notification confirming that schools in Lahore and Multan will resume classes on November 20, after being temporarily closed due to hazardous air quality. To ensure health and safety, schools will follow strict guidelines.
The following guidelines have been set for the reopening of schools in Lahore and Multan:
- Timings: Schools will begin no earlier than 8:45 AM.
- Masks: All students and teachers must wear masks during school hours.
- Outdoor Activities: Outdoor sports and co-curricular activities will be on hold.
