PayPal to cut 2500 jobs

In response to intensifying competition, PayPal has decided to reduce its workforce by cutting 2,500 jobs. CEO Alex Chriss informed the company’s staff that the move to cut 2,500 jobs was made to “right-size” the company, encompassing both direct staff reductions and the elimination of open positions. Affected staff members will receive notifications by the end of the week, as confirmed by the digital payments giant.
