Gold prices in Pakistan jumped to a fresh record high on Monday, in line with the upward trend in global markets. As per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold increased by Rs. 3,400 per tola, reaching Rs. 393,700. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams went up by Rs. 2,915, now standing at Rs. 337,534.
This comes after Saturday’s rise, when gold gained Rs. 1,700 per tola and settled at Rs. 390,300. On the international front, prices also strengthened, with gold trading at $3,719 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $34 jump in a single day, according to APGJSA.
Silver prices also moved upward, climbing by Rs. 63 per tola to reach Rs. 4,595.
