The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs. 2,200, reaching Rs. 276,900 on Friday, up from Rs. 274,700 on the previous trading day. Gold prices in Pakistan saw their third consecutive rise, with an increase of Rs. 1,000 per tola on Wednesday, Rs. 1,100 on Thursday, and another Rs. 2,200 today.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs. 1,886 to Rs. 237,397, while 22-karat gold reached Rs. 217,614, up from Rs. 215,885.
Silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver sold at Rs. 3,350 and ten grams at Rs. 2,872.08. Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market rose by $22, reaching $2,657 from $2,635.
