Gold Prices in Pakistan Reach Record High, Increasing by 26% This Year

As per the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold surged by Rs. 2,200, reaching Rs. 277,200 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs. 1,886, settling at Rs. 237,654.

Previously, the highest gold price in the local market was recorded on September 26, when it peaked at Rs. 277,000 per tola. However, the price later dropped and fluctuated between Rs. 270,000 and Rs. 276,000 per tola.

In the global market, spot gold increased by 0.6%, reaching $2,676.63 per ounce as of 08:32 GMT, while US gold futures rose by 0.5% to $2,693.30 per ounce.
