Atif Mohammad Khan, husband of renowned model and actress Nadia Hussain, has been taken into custody for his alleged involvement in a multi-million rupee fraud case. He is accused of misappropriating a staggering 540 million rupees.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) confirmed Atif Mohammad Khan’s arrest after conducting a detailed investigation, which was launched in response to a formal complaint from the company’s board of directors.
The allegations against Atif Mohammad Khan include misusing 80 million rupees of company funds for personal trading activities. Additionally, he is accused of illegally obtaining 654 million rupees through a third party and repaying it with high-interest payments using corporate funds.
The FIA’s investigation has also implicated former Chief Financial Officer Faisal Sheikh and another individual, Imtiaz Ahmed, for their involvement in facilitating the fraud. Authorities have stated that further inquiries are ongoing, and more details may surface as the case progresses.
The arrest has sent shockwaves through both the financial and entertainment industries, sparking concerns about corporate governance and accountability. Nadia Hussain, a well-known figure in the modeling world, has not yet issued a public statement regarding the matter.
