The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has formally lifted the suspension on Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), allowing its flight operations to resume. Furthermore, Nadir Shafi Dar, Director General of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), confirmed that Airblue has received Third Country Operator (TCO) authorization.
The Director General of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (DG CAA) expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister, Aviation Minister, and Secretary Aviation for their steadfast support in helping the PCAA achieve this significant milestone.
He praised his team for their relentless dedication and hard work in ensuring robust safety oversight. On this historic occasion, the DG CAA extended warm congratulations to the Pakistani nation, airlines, and the entire aviation industry.
Additionally, the DG CAA extended special thanks to the officials of the European Commission and the European Aviation Safety Agency for their continuous cooperation and support during the process of lifting the suspension.
